David Bell was the project Architect and Principal Designer overseeing the design and implementation of the Zetter Hotel Bloomsbury for Orca Holdings across these important Listed Townhouses. The project took 42 months from appointment requiring weekly site visits as layers of history were revealed, reviewed and recorded – with designs thereafter being amended and responding to preserve and coordinate with the emerging heritage elements. All 6 Townhouses have been lovingly renovated to bring this hotel into line with current Building Regulations whereever possible in balance with conserving the key historical aspects for future generations.
